Why did you have to mean so much?
Why did you have to care?
Why did you have to leave?
What's the point?
I still don't get it
I fail to understand humans
But isn't it the same with animals?
They come
They spread joy
They love
They die.
What's the point?
How futile
How nonsensical
How sad
How terribly sad!
And here I am left
On the dirt filled road
Clutching up the pieces
Of a broken life.
Something which could have been
Something that we might be!
